From tin washing to vacation home and today hotel

Here at the famous Aschergraben, mining was carried out for centuries, and the old tin washing plant was located on the site. In the mid-1950s, the vacation home of the Technical University of Dresden was finally built on this wooded hillside. It was a highly sought-after vacation spot for employees and members of the Dresden University and their families until the end of the division of Germany. Geising has always been a favorite destination for winter and summer vacations for the people of Dresden.
