A nice evening with good food in beautiful surroundings: for this the restaurant in the Waldhotel am Aschergraben is a well-known address. Likewise for a hearty lunch after a long mountain hike or a morning on the ski slope. And: the prices are moderately priced. After all, we are a family hotel.
Chef Monika Thoben stands for a varied and fresh offer. With her team, the maitre conjures up regional Saxon dishes, but also international culinary delights.
Celebrations & festivals, excursions & hiking
For hikers there is a reasonably priced extra menu, for celebrations you choose your own menu or buffet. Our team will be happy to assist you.
The restaurant has a south-facing terrace where our guests can enjoy the mountain air. In the fireplace room you can be completely among yourselves: With individual gastronomy at family reunions, celebrations, company and club events. In general: For weddings, birthday parties, communions, confirmations, youth dedications, school induction ceremonies our family hotel is ideal.
If required, the restaurant team can also serve outside, at a picnic or underground in the nearby visitor mine. Everything is just a matter of arrangement. After sports, an excursion or concentrated conference work, stop for dinner at the Aschergraben – that’s what you look forward to all day. And to a good drop of Saxon wine or a hearty Saxon beer.
